If you are a matriculated student, you can access your grade(s) via this link within a week to ten days after your course has ended, provided your instructor has submitted the grades to the Registrar.

If you require an official transcript for your records or for tuition reimbursement purposes, you can request one online at this link.

Transcripts of summer courses are available at the end of the entire Summer Session.  Summer Session dates can be found at this link.

OBTAINING A NetID

All WLI students (matriculated and nonmatriculated) are required to have a University-wide identifier called a NetID (Network Identifier). If you have not already established your NetID, you should do so as soon as you have registered and paid for your WLI course(s). If you are matriculated in an MAT degree program, you will keep your NetID for the duration of your degree studies. If you are a nonmatriculated student, your NetID will be valid through August 31.

The username you choose during the process of creating an OIT (Office of Information Technology) computer account will serve as your NetID, which is used for many processes on campus, including accessing the student computing labs, email, Sakai, the My.Rutgers portal, and grades as well as making transcript requests.

An OIT account may be created at any of the OIT student computer labs, which provide documentation and staff to answer questions. Any student who is currently enrolled at Rutgers and has a valid RUconnection ID card can use OIT computing facilities. The College Avenue Computing Center is in Records Hall (848-932-8541), which is located near Brower Commons, the Kreeger Learning Resource Center and the Rutgers Student Center.

Rutgers-New Brunswick students also may create an OIT account online at https://netid.rutgers.edu/activateNetId.htm.

OBTAINING A RUconnection ID Card

All WLI students (matriculated and nonmatriculated) should obtain a RUconnection ID card. This is the official photo identification card issued to faculty, staff, students, and visitors on all Rutgers University campuses. It serves as the primary form of identity verification within the University community and displays your RUID number. Based on your affiliation with the University, the RUconnection Card can provide you with access to the following services:

  • Checkout privileges at any of the Rutgers University Libraries
  • Access to recreation centers and computer lab facilities
  • Entry to football games and other events

The RUconnection Card can also be used as identification during University Cashier, Registrar and credit union transactions.

Students must be actively registered (and have fully paid) for classes in the current semester in order to receive an ID card. A valid form of photo identification, such as a driver's license or a passport, must be presented in order for a new RUconnection Card to be issued. All transactions must be performed in person at a RUconnection ID Card office, which does not conduct business by mail, phone or over the Internet. No appointment is necessary.

Matriculated (MAT) Students: There is no charge for a RUconnection Card issued for the first time. The ID is valid for four years.

Nonmatriculated Summer/Winter Session Students: There is no charge for a RUconnection card. Summer Session IDs are issued after commencement and are valid through August 31. Winter Session IDs are issued after the last day of Fall Semester and are valid through the end of the session.
