Are you interested in the languages of the world? Are you attracted to a particular language spoken thousands of miles away, or next door, or within your own family?

Would you like to keep studying, in college, a language that you began to learn in school – or to start learning an entirely new one?

Is a language other than English part of your cultural heritage? Do you wish to explore it further and improve your command of it, in a manner that resonates with your personal experience?

Can you think of ways in which mastering another language would enrich the subjects you are or envision studying, or might be useful to the profession you see yourself choosing later on?

Would you like to know more about the relations of language and culture? about the cognitive, social, and cultural impact of multilingualism? about the process of language learning itself?

If your answer to any of these questions is yes, the Language Engagement Project should be of great interest to you.
